I will be forever grateful to your Dad for all the info he sent me over the years on the genealogy info regarding the Martin and Wolcott clans, which I have been attempting to keep updated. Thanks again, Uncle John. Sorry couldn't keep as close in touch as I should have over the last few years. RIP.
Our prayers are with you.
~ Love, Lois

Alice and Bonnie- Many memories of your father during his years at Riverside. My sons also had him as a teacher at Ernie Davis Jr. High. May peace and comfort be with in the knowledge he is with his Saviour.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I remember your dad in the late 70's and early 80's when he attended Riverside UMC. I was very young but he had an influence in my journey. May your memories be a source of comfort.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of your father. Mr. Martin as i called him was a teacher of mine in jr.high school at ernie davis. He was an excellent teacher and very fair and good man. To teach children in a voctional trade and then to leave and teach children and adults about god shows what a good and humble man he was. May god bless and keep you in this time of need and god bless his soul as i know he has made his place in heaven.

Dearest Daughters of John,

I hold in my heart this lovely man, Santa par-excellence, gifted in spirit and dedicated to lead by example.
He & Audrey will always be a part of Watson Homestead. Their Library will someday be a second small dining room. "The Martin Dining Room".
The gentle love they gave to all continues to inspire me.
I am blessed in knowing "Santa".

Thanks so very much for the great words and photo - I forwarded it to my kids and brothers.
I am so glad you and Bonnie were there for him. As hard as it is to see your dad getting weaker daily you will remember the good times and never regret those moments.

Thank you Alice--that was beautiful.

I sent via Fedex 4 discs to Terry yesterday. I also sent to Bonnie the same 4 discs to her house in Olean via priority mail. She should get them by Thursday. One dvd is from 2008 when we celebrated John and Don's bdays in Painted Post and 3 are from the Watson Martin Family reunion in 2009.

Am thinking of you both. Dave and I will be coming to the service. If you are planning a reception afterward I would like to bring something. If you would like donations to somewhere other than Watson, please let me know.
Your father was so fortunate to have such wonderful loving daughters.

Alice and Bonnie,

We are saddened to hear of the passing of your Dad. I'm sure you have
many great memories that you can hold near to your heart in a hard time like
this.
Due to the distance and time frame, we will not be able to make the
memorial service but will keep each of you in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Al,

We saw the obit earlier and have already sent a memorial to the Addison Food Pantry. I just didn't want you to think we went against your wishes. I hope you guys are hanging in there.

Palace Alice, your dad was a truly amazing man. He has left a wonderful legacy and I now understand where your character originates. There is nothing soothing that can be said about losing a parent. Know that I'm thinking of you.
